Today’s book is “Osajisan.” San is a word like Mister. So I called this book “Mr. Spoon.”
Saji means spoon, but honestly the loanword “Supun” is used much more frequently. Using Saji increases the politeness, which makes it more humorous.
Adding “O” to the beginning of a word also makes it very polite.
Little rabbit thinks he doesn’t need Mr. Spoon! Well, you do, little rabbit! Mr. Spoon is there to help you and pretty soon you’ll be a big bunny and then you’ll get to meet Mr. and Mrs. Chopsticks. Utensils are your friends!
