Here are some photos from the Inari Shrine festival that is held in October every year. We are privileged because we live in a neighborhood that participates with a float. My son is one of the drummers in the float.
The floats from different neighborhoods (all from the “old” section of town) line up on the main street in downtown Fukushima City.
Each neighborhood has a different “hapi” coat. On the back is the name of the neighborhood.
What a cool float!
This guy has his own English school. He is super friendly and great with children.
After lining up on the main street, we march through the streets of Fukushima.
