Last weekend we went “crawdadding” at Azuma Sports Park, a large park filled with natural beauty.
The sign says “There are crawdads here! Let’s fish for crawdads!” We put pieces of dried squid onto string and the greed crawdads snapped them up. While you were allowed to keep your crawdads, we did catch and release.
Hello, Mr. Crawdad. You have to pick them up from the back.
Photographers were there as a group. They were interested in our crawdad fishing, and I was interested in their photography.
Lovely hydrangeas during this wet rainy season!
There were quite a few stray cats. Cats are abandoned here, and people leave food for them. Poor kitties.
Crawdadding was great fun. We loved it!
