I think it is very well done. It focusses on the tsunami rather than on the nuclear meltdown. It is about a boy who was at school (like my son) at that time. He returns to find his house missing. His parents are okay, but his Grandfather nevers comes back from his job as a fisherman. The book is ultimately about hope, as the boy remembers that day.
