I went back for Christmas break, and at the aiport I bought some cute postcards, at a dollar each. They show Texas as half the size of the U.S., dwarfing the other states.
Well, it is true that everything is bigger in Texas——including the postcards!
I found that I when I tried to mail them to the States from Japan. They are oversized, classifying them as small packets. They were well over two dollars each to send! Whoa nellie! Bigger is not always better.
Minnesota’s airport had far better postcards. Map of Minnesota, normal sized postcards, and only 39 cents each. Minnesota’s new motto: Everything is Modest in Minnesota
